Sometimes I envy the guys at Rizzoli Lizard who are in charge of publishing graphic novels. Especially so when it comes to publishing books like this..
Another Monday, another set of covers for an upcoming book :) And of course… we haven’t decided yet which one will be the final one!

Or Woody Allen? Or Gary Marshall? Or David Fincher?
Christopher Nolan anyone?
Take a look…
And since today I feel in a theatre mood (although it’s World Poetry Day, but more on that later!) here are some of the designs from Parsons School of Design in New York students commissioned by the New York Times to honor the new revival of Arthur Miller’s The Death of a Salesman (the NYTimes theatre critic, Charles Isherwood, has a terrific online conversation going on here).
We are a couple of months away from publication day for Elif Shafak’s latest book, La casa dei quattro venti (Honour) and the process to find the right cover is well under way. It’s a tricky book: a story set between Kurdistan and London, a tragic tale of love, honour and betrayal, something that is hard to convey in a cover. Should we go for the more ethnic look? Or focus more on the female character that it’s at the heart of the novel? Stay tuned for more updates..
Have you ever wanted to hang your favourite book on the wall for everyone to see? Now you can do it: and it looks pretty too! Via www.spinelessclassics.com
